The Asia-Pacific New Energy Alliance is a Singapore-registered, neutral, non-profit and membership-based alliance created to give regional knowledge exchange its own governance, participation framework and long-term institutional continuity.

Institutional origin
APNEA was established to give regional exchange a durable structure.
Expertise already exists across companies, universities, professional communities and public-interest institutions. What is often missing is a neutral, continuing structure that can convene those perspectives beyond one commercial project, one event or one market.
APNEA provides that institutional structure through its own constitution, membership framework, Executive Committee and ability to establish committees or working groups around defined regional priorities.
Some regional questions require a platform beyond one transaction.
A membership-based alliance can convene relevant perspectives without organising the discussion around one supplier, contract or commercial outcome.
Governance allows useful questions to develop over time.

The Executive Committee approves membership applications, oversees administration and activities, and may establish committees or working groups when there is a defined mandate and sufficient member participation.
